Taking advantage of tourism development in the region, the Medeiros family, immigrant for many years in Canada, to whom the longing of home and the desire to return back, gave rise to a project and later on became a reality with the opening of Hotel Vale Verde in 2010.

Located in the emblematic valley of Furnas, Hotel Vale Verde is a small hotel with only 11 years of existence, but that has been gaining some visibility that may lead to be considered as one of the best accommodation sites of our island.
